Dan Auerbach is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is the singer and guitarist of blues rock band The Black Keys.
Dan is the son of Mary Little, a teacher of French, and Charles Auerbach, an antiques dealer. His father was Jewish, of Polish Jewish descent.
Dan has one child with his former wife Stephanie Gonis, and one child with his former wife Jen Goodall.
Dan’s maternal grandfather was John Robert Quine (the son of Harry Sanford Quine and Sarah Jahant). John was born in Ohio. Harry was the son of Robert Stanford Quine, who was born on Andreas, Isle of Man, and of Katherine “Kate” Motz, who was born in Germany.
