He is considered to hold the record for most goals scored in men’s professional football, under some criteria.
He is the son of Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro and José Dinis Aveiro. One of his great-grandmothers was from Cape Verde. His sister is singer Kátia Aveiro.
Cristiano was named after U.S. President Ronald Reagan. He has had six children, including three with his partner, Spanish-Argentinian model Georgina Rodríguez.

What does “Cape Verdean” mean? The Portuguese colonized Cape Verde and made the whole island mixed up. Some white, some black, some mixed.

His grandmother is NOT from Cape Verde. She is Portuguese from Madeira. He is NOT part Cape Verdean. I can guaranteed you this as I am from his home town and know his family.

We don’t even know if his ancestor really did come from Cape Verde and if she did, that doesn’t mean she couldn’t have been a White Cape Verdean as the Portuguese were still there.
