She is the daughter of Robert Applegate (Robert William Applegate), a record producer and executive, and Nancy Priddy (Nancy Lee Priddy), an actress and musician. She is married to musician Martyn LeNoble, with whom she has a daughter.

Her “Driggs” line is Portuguese in origin. She is 1/512th Portuguese.
True. Her ancestor Joseph Driggs was originally named José Rodrigues, and he was born, c. 1686, in Portugal.
I don’t know. Is that for certain? According to this tree, the 1/512 “Driggs” ancestor was of Dutch descent.

“This “theory” [about a Dutch origin for the family] has now been disproved through the Y-DNA testing of a confirmed direct descendant of Joseph Driggs and confirmed descendants of Josias Janszen Drats. Results of the testing show that any common ancestor of Joseph Driggs and Josias Janszen Drats would have lived more than 35,000 years ago. Based on the DNA testing and a review of old family letters and stories, it appears that Joseph Driggs was the anglicized name of José Rodrigues from Portugal.”
