Charlie’s paternal grandfather was Anton G. “Tony” Weber (the daughter of Andrew “Andy” A. Weber and Rosatta/Rosetta Katherine “Rosa” Kautsch). Andrew was the son of Carl Weber and Elizabeth Hoffmoekel. Rosatta was the daughter of Adam Kautsch and Anna Mary Gemeinhardt.

Charlie’s paternal grandmother was Alice E. Propst (the daughter of Louis F. Propst and Julia Schubert). Alice was born in Honey Creek, Missouri. Louis was born in Missouri, to parents from Switzerland. Julia was also born in Missouri, to parents from Germany, John N. Schubert and Rosa.
