Beth Grant is an American actress. Her roles include the films Rain Man, Child’s Play 2, Speed, To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar, Donnie Darko, Little Miss Sunshine, No Country for Old Men, Dear Lemon Lima, The Artist, Bad Words, Jackie, Faults, and Lucky, and television’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, Dollface, The Mindy Project, Wonderfalls, and Mayfair Witches.

She is the daughter of William Grant and actress, and ERA and civil rights activist Elizabeth “Libba” Grant. She was raised partly in Wilmington, North Carolina. Beth is married to actor Michael Chieffo, with whom she has a daughter, actress Mary Chieffo.

Beth’s paternal grandfather was Dr. Nicholas Luther Grant (the son of Surveson Pois Grant and Martha Jane Murrah).

Beth’s paternal grandmother was named Irene Mitcham.

Beth’s maternal grandfather was John Lawton Hayes (the son of John Alexander Hayes and Laura L. Craig).
