Ann Kirkpatrick is an American politician. A member of the Democratic Party, she has served as a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Arizona, from January 3, 2009 to January 3, 2011, again, from January 3, 2013 to January 3, 2017, and again, from January 3, 2019 to January 3, 2023.
Ann was born on an Apache reservation, but is not of Native American descent.
She is the daughter of Nancy and Elliott Whittington Kirkpatrick. Her uncle, William Bourdon, was elected as a member of the State House of Arizona.
Ann is married to Roger Curley, with whom she has two children.
Ann’s paternal grandfather was Jerry Rufus Kirkpatrick (the son of William Riley Kirkpatrick and Virginia Adeline McCain). Jerry was born in Texas. William was the son of Williem Jehiel Kirkpatrick and Mary Herron. Virginia was the daughter of William McCain and Margaret Byler.
