Amber’s paternal grandfather possibly was Francis/Frank Joseph Levonchuck (the son of Philip K. Leonchuk/Levonchuck and Pauline Tarnowski). Francis was born in Pennsylvania, to Polish parents.
Amber’s paternal grandmother possibly was Rose Spera (the daughter of Enrico Romeo/Roma Spera/Sperie and Rose Montone). Rose was born in Pennsylvania. Enrico was the son of Italian parents, John Spera/Sperie and Elizabeth. Rose was also the daughter of Italian parents, Joseph Montone/Montani and Susana Passwell/Pasquale/Dipasquale.
Amber’s maternal grandfather was Anthony J. “Sonny” Rose (who likely was the son of Theodore “Teddy” Rose and Lillian Santos). Anthony was born in Pennsylvania, to parents who were born on Brava, Cape Verde, and were black Cape Verdeans. Theodore was the son of Jose Rose and Josephine. Well I would not call that Bitch Amber rose a white person but a woman of colour….she is better be caled a black person.Ok..that simple and clear….who cares if cape verde is mixed….or her dad is italian.she has lost the whiteness and now a colored person…end of discussion
Honestly, why are people making it so complicated? She has a mixed heritage, both African and European. I thought it was pretty obvious.
Well i definitely wouldn’t call her white, not completely anyways. But i wouldn’t call her black either. Her mother is from Cape Verde and historically people from that region are already, for the most part, mixed. And her father is Italian, which makes him ethnic white. That means that although he is mostly white, Italians usually have some small ethnic mixture from Africa or Arab decent. So Amber Rose would be between half and three quarters white and half to a quarter black. Therefore you can’t call her black or white because she is of mixed heritage.
I hate to burst all your bubbles but, this woman does have African ancestry. Cape Verde is definitely in Africa. The fact she is mixed, still makes her black just as Mariah Carey and Left Eye being of Afro-Latino decent…you can deny it but it’s till there.
The bottom line is to open up a history book. Many people in Latin/Carib countries also deny their African heritage, but the fact remains we were not only slaves of African decent but also indigenous natives such as Arawaks or Tainos (poorly referred to as Native Americans or Indians).
I say all of this to say…if you are going to make race an issue do your homework on race and ethnicity, then decide for yourselves.

And Testa is an Italian name. It’s certain because my Italian grand mother has a cousin who’s from Roccasecca (Lazio) and who has the same family name than Amber Rose (Testa) ! ^^
