Cape Verde is a group of islands located off the coast of West Africa. Most of the population (about 71%) of Cape Verde is a mix of Sub-Saharan African and European ancestry, usually from Portugal and Spain. Another celebrity of Cape Verde descent was Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes.
Amber’s paternal grandfather possibly was Francis/Frank Joseph Levonchuck (the son of Philip K. Leonchuk/Levonchuck and Pauline Tarnowski). Francis was born in Pennsylvania, to Polish parents.
Amber’s paternal grandmother possibly was Rose Spera (the daughter of Enrico Romeo/Roma Spera/Sperie and Rose Montone). Rose was born in Pennsylvania. Enrico was the son of Italian parents, John Spera/Sperie and Elizabeth. Rose was also the daughter of Italian parents, Joseph Montone/Montani and Susana Passwell/Pasquale/Dipasquale.
Amber’s maternal grandfather was Anthony J. “Sonny” Rose (who likely was the son of Theodore “Teddy” Rose and Lillian Santos). Anthony was born in Pennsylvania, to parents who were born on Brava, Cape Verde, and were black Cape Verdeans. Theodore was the son of Jose Rose and Josephine. Lillian was the daughter of Manuel Santos and Annie.

@I AM SAM
Please tell me your joking,you can not be that thick.First that pic was put on here a year ago,get with the program.Next your telling me the video above didn’t convince you she was half black.Next you say not and oz of black,are you blind?People like you actually scare me,and that’s saying something
Umm….jus because she is of african descent doesnt mean she is black. Egypt is in africa and egyptians arent “black” in south africa people are from somr european countries but they are african. So she is connected to the “black” race in some aspect ….im sure
@jenay
She gave an interview with entertainment rundown in which she stated that(The kids would tease me by saying I was adopted because my mom was so dark and I look White.)Does it sound like mommy was a black woman.This site want allow me to post that site for you.Also there are alot of black Egyptians especially in the south.Plus white people were seriously a minority in South Africa
To sum it up, since most of you seem to confuse race and ethnicity all the time. Her races are black and white, but her ethnicity is Cape Verdan, Irish, and Italian. However, some people do not even consider Italians white, so who knows! That’s why race doesn’t even matter. This is an ethnicity website not a racial website, too many people have those confused, do some research.
who are who does not consider italian as white?… are they mad?… they have hole in their eyes… and worms in their brain…
sorry… but 100 % of European consider Italian as white people…
It’s certainly …once again…an “american” weirdo point of vue (i know it’s a minority)
Actually your very wrong. Americans considered italians white, which they are, its certain europeans that don’t. An offensive word for an italian is a guinea, this name comes from the country New Guinea. By calling an italian a guinea they were basically calling them not white.
