Nina’s paternal grandmother was named Bridget Keane (whose mother’s maiden surname is O’Donnell). Bridget was born in Belmullet, County Mayo, Ireland.

Nina’s maternal grandfather is the son of Harry Gustaf Adolf Lindberg and Aili Elisabeth Kallio. Harry was from Kotka, Kymenlaakso, Finland, and was the son of Fridolf Alexander Lindberg and Matilda Katarina. Aili was Finnish, and was the daughter of Klas Kallio and Olga.
