Alissa White-Gluz is a Canadian musician. She is the lead vocalist of Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy. She was previously the lead vocalist of Canadian metalcore band The Agonist.
Alissa is the daughter of Judith White and Jacob Gluz. Her sister, Jasamine White-Gluz, leads the Montréal band No Joy. Her paternal grandparents escaped from a concentration camp during WWII, which inspired her song “First Day in Hell.”
