Ronn Moss is an American actor, musician, singer, and songwriter. He is known for portraying Ridge Forrester on the show The Bold and the Beautiful.
Ronn is the son of Maudine Elizabeth (Creason) and John Ronald Moss. He has English, and some Scottish, ancestry. Ronn is sometimes described as having Cherokee Native American ancestry. It is not clear if this Cherokee ancestry has been verified/documented.
Ronn’s paternal grandparents were Montague Moss and Carrie Abbott (the daughter of Charles Abbott and Susan Rigby). Montague and Carrie were both born in England, Montague in Liverpool, Lancashire, and Carrie in St Paul, Bedfordshire.
Ronn’s maternal grandfather was Chester Creason (the son of Enos Creason and Amanda Elizabeth Taylor). The “Creason” line traces back to James Isaac Creasn, who was born, c. 1760, in Scotland. Enos was the son of Leroy “Lindy” Creason and Margaret “Peggy” Payne. Amanda was the daughter of Isaac Taylor and Callie “Betsy” Elizabeth Hatcher.
Ronn’s maternal grandmother was Maude Maxwell (the daughter of John H. Maxwell and Helen Royalle). John was the son of William C. Maxwell.
