Park Geun-hye is a South Korean politician. She was the eleventh President of South Korea, from 25 February, 2013 to 10 March, 2017; she was suspended from the position in December 2016, as she was impeached, and was later removed from office when the impeachment was upheld by the Constitutional Court. She has also been First Lady of South Korea (Acting), from 1974 to 1979, Leader of the Grand National Party, from 23 March, 2004 to 15 June, 2006, and Leader of the Saenuri Party, from 19 December, 2011 to 15 May, 2012, among other duties.
She is the daughter of Yuk Young-soo and politician and army general Park Chung-hee, who was the third President of South Korea, from March 24, 1962 to October 26, 1979, his assassination.
President Park’s paternal grandfather was Park Sung-bin (the son of Park Yeong-gyu and Seong San-yi-si). Yeong-gyu was the son of Park Yi-chan.
President Park’s paternal grandmother was named Bek Nam-eui.
President Park’s maternal grandfather was Yuk Jong-gwan (the son of Yuk Yong-pil and Lady Lee). Yuk Yong-pil was the son of Yuk Byeong-gyu and Lady Lee/Cho.
President Park’s maternal grandmother was named Lee Gyeong-ryeong.

The Constitutional Court upholds Park Geun-hye’s impeachment. Therefore, Hwang Kyo-ahn will continue his presidency until the end of his term.
President Park’s maternal grandparents were Yuk Jong-gwan (the son of Yuk Yong-pil) and I Gyeong-ryeong. Yuk Yong-pil was the son of Yuk Byeong-gyu.
