Lainie Kazan is an American actress and singer. She is the daughter of Carole (Kazan) and Ben/Benjamin Levine. She has a daughter with her former husband, musical director and arranger Peter H.B. Daniels.
Lainie’s maternal grandfather was Joshua Simon Kazansky/Kazan (the son of Chaim/Hyman Abba Kazansky/Kazanski/Kazan and Dora Goldstein, or of Sara Malki). Joshua was born in Serotina, Vitebsk, Belarus.
Lainie’s maternal grandmother was named Jane K. “Jennie” Jaffe/Jaffee. Jane was born in Jerusalem, Israel, to a father who was also born there, and to a mother who was born in Russia.

This would make her DOB 1939.
It’s possible she was born as early as 1938. If so, it would make sense that she graduated high school in 1956 and college in 1960
