Joey Ramone was an American musician, singer, and songwriter. He was the lead singer of punk rock band Ramones. Dee Dee Ramone was also a member of the band. Joey was also known as Jeff Starship.

Joey was the son of Charlotte (Mandell) and Noel Hyman.

Joey’s paternal grandfather was Morris Hyman (the son of Marcus Hyman/Hymitch/Heiman and Jennie Hamburger). Morris was born in Russia. Marcus was the son of Nathan/Nachum Isaac Hymitch/Heiman and Jane Holmbash. Joey’s great-grandmother Jennie was the daughter of Moses Hamburger and Sarah Einbinder.
