Jessica Cauffiel is an American actress and singer. Her films include The Out-of-Towners, Road Trip, Urban Legends: Final Cut, Valentine (2001), Legally Blonde, and its sequel; You Stupid Man, Stuck on You, White Chicks, Guess Who, The World’s Fastest Indian, and Hoot. She is also known as Kada.

She is the daughter of Deborah, a social worker, and Lowell Cauffiel (Lowell Joseph Cauffiel), a true crime author, screenwriter, and television documentary producer.

Jessica’s paternal grandfather was Lowell J. Cauffiel (the son of Joseph Lowell Cauffiel and Elda Claire Bevard). Jessica’s grandfather Lowell was born in Ohio, to a father from Pennsylvania and a mother from Ohio. Joseph was the son of James Hammer Cauffiel and Jennie/Jane Elizabeth Sellers. Elda was the daughter of John H. Bevard and Alice L. Montgomery.

Jessica’s paternal grandmother was Ursula Irene Zulka (the daughter of Wajciech/George Zulka and Thecla/Tekla/Tillie Kwasek/Bebrich). Ursula was born in Ohio, and was a Polish-American community leader. Wajciech was born in Ohio, to Polish parents, Frank Zulka and Mary Szyperska. Thecla was Polish.

Jessica’s maternal grandfather was John Winfield Fordyce (the son of Chester Fordyce and Roxie/Roxanne L. Chandler). John was born in Fairfield, Jefferson, Iowa. Chester was the son of Winfield Fordyce and Mariam Fell. Roxie was the daughter of John Jesse Chandler and Ruth Anna/Ann Bales.

Jessica’s maternal grandmother was Kathryn Scovel (the daughter of Calvin Loren Scovel and Gertrude “Byrl” Stephenson). Kathryn was born in Fairfield, Jefferson, Iowa. Calvin was the son of Loren Lewis Scovel and Alta Clinkenbeard. Gertrude was the daughter of Enos Leonard Stephenson and Ida Jane Braggs.
