Aidan Quinn is an Irish and American actor. His roles include the films Reckless, Desperately Seeking Susan, The Mission (1986), Stakeout, Avalon, Benny & Joon, Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein (1994), Legends of the Fall, Michael Collins (1996), Practical Magic, Song for a Raggy Boy, Wild Child, and Unknown (2011), the made-for-tv movie An Early Frost, the mini-series Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, and the series Elementary.

His parents, Teresa and Michael Quinn, a professor of literature, were Irish, from Co. Offaly. He was raised partly in Ireland. He is the sibling of cinematographer Declan Quinn and actress Marian Quinn.

Aidan is married to actress Elizabeth Bracco, who is the sister of actress Lorraine Bracco. The couple has two children.
