William Daniels is an American actor. He is known for his roles in the films Two for the Road, The Graduate, 1776 (1972), The Parallax View, The Blue Lagoon (1980), Reds, and Blades of Glory, on the series Captain Nice, St. Elsewhere, Knight Rider, Boy Meets World, and Girl Meets World, and in the made-for-tv movie Knight Rider 2000. He was President of the Screen Actors Guild, from March 5, 1999 to October 15, 2001.

William is the son of Irene, a telephone operator, and Charlie Daniels, a bricklayer. He was raised Catholic. William is married to actress Bonnie Bartlett, with whom he has had three children, including Michael, an assistant director and stage manager. William and Bonnie are perhaps the most prominent couple in Hollywood to both be in their 90s.
