I believe his Native American ancestry claim. When I recently saw him on tv, I immediately thought he was part Mexican. I can see Indigenous admixture Indian /European roots in his appearance like alot of Mexicans look. Plus his hair is extra thick for just Northern European dna, indicating Asian Indian Native American. There was a guy in my school looked exactly like him and he was part Mexican part White American.
He has Mediterranean influence on his phenotype. So yeah he can also pass for Mexican but not as one with Amerindian ancestry (he does not look it). Somebody with roots in Germany, Switzerland and Wisconsin has unlikely Native American heritage.
I doubt he has any Native American ancestry. But you can’t discount it because of Wisconsin. Wisconsin has the 20th largest percentage of people who identify as African American out of the 50 states, and it’s 1.7% is slightly above the national average. In fact, there is only one state further east than it that has a higher percentage of those who identify as idigenous: North Carolina.
Depending on how far his ancestry goes back in the state, it wouldn’t be super rare for him to posess a Native American ancestor.
He has no NA ancestors: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/pedigree/landscape/L2JC-SSL
Unsure if “English” is the most consistent part of his maternal ancestry, Elmira Jane Poff. and Mary Ann Poff. were related.

Looks Italian or at least Jewish to me. Something exotic about him.
impossible, he’s not short, swarthy and doesn’t have pounds upon pounds of body hair typical of Italians.
were you talking of Danny De Vito? This is a crowd of 1000 Italians playing a Foo Fighters hit, if you don’t have a clue about how Italians look. Also the man at 4:18 is the organizer (Fabio Zaffagnini), and he’s Italian.

The best looking man I have ever seen
When I saw his pic, I thought he might be part Mexican.
I agree,
No I wouldn’t believe he could be George Lopez’s son.
