Ted Simmons is an American professional baseball player and coach. He was a catcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, the Milwaukee Brewers, and the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has been inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Ted is the son of Bonnie and Finis Simmons.
Ted’s paternal grandfather was James Carol/Charles Simmons (the son of Isaiah James “Bud” Simmons and Amanda Elizabeth Tomlinson). James was born in Tennessee. Isaiah was the son of Brittan L.
