Tad Hilgenbrink is an American actor. He is known for his roles in the films American Pie Presents: Band Camp, The Curiosity of Chance, and The Hills Run Red.

Tad’s paternal grandfather was Clarence Noel Hilgenbrinck (the son of Clarence Herman Hilgenbrinck and Katherine/Catherine Ebertsch). Tad’s grandfather Clarence was born in Illinois. Tad’s great-grandfather Clarence was the son of Herman B. Hilgenbrinck, whose father was German, from Nordvelen, Borken, Nordrhein-Westfalen, a village near the border with the Netherlands, and whose mother was also of German descent; and of Elizabeth Ellen/Ella Pastorious/Pastorius, who was also of German origin, with roots in Prussia. Katherine was German.

Tad’s paternal grandmother was Gloria Madonna Barron (the daughter of Arthur Chester Barron and Rosia L. Lafleur). Gloria was born in Michigan. Arthur was the son of French-Canadian parents, Clifford Barron and Mary Priscilla Lavigne. Rosia was also of French-Canadian origin, the daughter of Aldolphus Lafleur and Dinace Desjardins. Gloria had roots in Québec.

Tad’s maternal grandfather was Thomas A. “Al” Brown (the son of Raymond L. Brown and Velma M. Harker). Raymond was the son of Hannibal A. Brown and Orpha Sue Barton.

Also, Herman B. Hilgenbrinck’s father was Joseph Hilgenbrink, in he was German. Joseph and his parents were from Velen, Borken, Nordrhein-Westfalen, a village near the border with the Netherlands. In some sources Joseph is listed as born in Holland, and in others in Germany, but given the fact that the surnames of his family are of German orgin, I think that he was of German descent.

Joseph’s wife, Mathilda Spies, was the daughter of German parents, and Elizabeth Ella Pastorius’ mother (Bernadina Geise) was also the daughter of German parents. So, Tad’s grandfather Clarence Noel Hilgenbrinck was entierly of German descent.

In summary, Tad’s father was of half German, half French-Canadian descent; and Tad’s mother was of Colonial-American/British (mostly English) descent.
