Sydney Greenstreet was a British actor. His roles included the films The Maltese Falcon (1941), Casablanca, and Passage to Marseille, and portraying Nero Wolfe on the radio.

He was the son of Ann/Anne (Baker) and John Jarvis Greenstreet, a tanner. He was married to Dorothy Marie Ogden, until his death, with whom he had a son. Sydney became a U.S. citizen in 1925.
