Shaun Johnson is a New Zealand professional rugby league footballer. He plays as a halfback for the New Zealand Warriors of the National Rugby League (NRL). He has also played with the New Zealand Warriors and the Cronulla Sharks, and the New Zealand national team.

His father is a New Zealander, of European descent. His mother is Laotian. The Lao are an ethnic group native to Laos and northeastern Thailand.
