She has a daughter, actress Esme Creed-Miles, with her former partner, actor Charlie Creed-Miles; and two children with her partner, filmmaker Harry Holm. Harry is the son of actor Ian Holm.

Samantha’s maternal grandfather was named Bruno Mallek. Bruno was Polish.

Samantha’s maternal grandmother was Iris A. Gretton (the daughter of Richard Gretton and Jessie M. Woods).

While Samantha has referred to her “Polish grandparents,” it appears that only her maternal grandfather was Polish.
