Oh, so his mother was born in 1949, not in 1970 as I’d thought. That certainly makes all the ages involved here plausible.
Why did you think she was born in 1970? I thought it was clear from the beginning that she was born in 1948 (not 1949 by the way).

But nothing else with it seems to add up. Most importantly, I’m pretty sure Sam’s mother is still alive. Just wanted to link it, since it’s strange that the picture’s could be mixed up like that.
Anyway, given his mother’s maiden name I’d guess she has Irish ancestry.

I don’t know. D.W. Story was also married to Clarice Isabelle Bixler according to the tree on familysearch. Then there’s also a possibility Judy’s his granddaughter.
For the record, given Judy’s age, Clarice Bixler could not possibly have been her mother, and Ina was almost certainly not her mother, either, although it’s slightly more possible than it is in Clarice’s case.
Judy is his mother for certain. She is listed in his birth record. I really wonder who the “Judy Ann Story Tsur” in Ina’s obituary in familysearch is, since she isn’t mention in the text version.

I think you’re not getting me. I think Judy is D.W. Story’s granddaughter since she’s of similar age as his grandchildren through his son Steven Bixler Story. I just don’t know what other kids D.W. had and if they had children of their own.
