Richard Widmark was an American actor and producer.
Richard was the son of Ethel Mae/May (Barr) and Carl Henry Widmark. His father was of Swedish and Norwegian descent. His mother had English and Irish ancestry. Richard was married to screenwriter Jean Hazlewood, until her death, and to socialite, lyricist, and producer Susan Blanchard, until his death. He had a daughter with Jean. Susan was the daughter of interior designer Dorothy Hammerstein.

I mean in the sense of how a country is defined in this case specifically. England and Scotland are both countries, as is the UK. So his grandparents were born in different countries, only that two of them are countries within the same country.
