Ragnheiður Melsteð is an Icelandic executive producer and co-founder of LazyTown Entertainment.

She has two children, including singer Sylvia Scheving, with her former husband, actor Magnús Scheving. Her second cousins are opera singer Diddú and singer and songwriter Paul Oscar.

Ragnheiður’s paternal grandfather was Gunnlaugur Bjarnason Melsteð (the son of Bjarni Jónsson Melsteð and Þórunn Guðmundsdóttir). Bjarni was the son of Jóh Pálsson Melsteð and Steinunn Bjarnadóttir Thorarensen. Þórunn was the daughter of Guðmundur Sigurðsson and Ingibjörg Helgadóttir.

Ragnheiður’s paternal grandmother was Helga Símonardóttir (the daughter of Símon Daníel Pjetursson and Jónína Guðrún Sveinsdóttir). Símon was the son of Pjetur Jónsson and Helga Guðmundsdóttir. Jónína was the daughter of Sveinn Arnfinnsson and Katrín Jónsdóttir.

Ragnheiður’s maternal grandfather was Engilbert Hannesson (the son of Hannes Guðmundsson and Valgerður Magnúsdóttir). Hannes was the son of Guðmundur Jónsson and Herdís Hannesdóttir. Valgerður was the daughter of Magnús Jónsson and Katrín Freysteinsdóttir.

Ragnheiður’s maternal grandmother was Ragnheiður Jóhannsdóttir (the daughter of Jóhann Sigurðsson and Ragnheiður Anna Helgadóttir). Jóhann was the son of Sigurður Sigurðsson and Sigríður Ólafsdóttir. Ragnheiður’s great-grandmother Ragnheiður was the daughter of Helgi Bergsson and Halla Lárusdóttir.
