Rachael Harris is an American actress and comedian. She is known for playing Dr. Linda Martin on the show Lucifer, and Greg’s mother in the Diary of a Whimpy Kid films.

She is married to violinist Christian Hebel, with whom she has two children.

Rachael’s paternal grandfather was Merle Frederick Harris (the son of Benjamin Franklin Harris and Jane Albertyne Jordan). Merle was born in Springfield, Ohio, and had English, and possibly Scottish, heritage.

Rachael’s paternal grandmother was Evelyn Louise Cost (the daughter of John Russell Cost and Anna Elizabeth Sponsler). Evelyn was born in Tipp City, Ohio, and was of English and German heritage.

Rachael’s maternal grandfather was Lawson Edgar Whitacre (the son of Orval E. Whitacre and Ida Mae Heston). Lawson was born in Brown, Ohio, and had English ancestry.

Rachael’s maternal grandmother was Helen Irine/Irene McDowell (the daughter of Frank A. McDowell and Elenora Nora Crowl). Helen was born in Ohio, and was of Scottish heritage from her father. Frank’s mother likely was named Nancy LaRue. The last name LaRue originates in France. The last name McDowell originates from Scotland and Ireland.
