His parents, Carolyn L. (Hoggard) and Pharoah Williams, Jr., are both African-American. Pharrell is married to model Helen Lasichanh, with whom he has four children. He is said to be a cousin of musician, record producer, and DJ Timbaland.

An article published at “Diary of a Hollywood Street King” claimed that Pharrell’s mother is Filipino. This information is not accurate. Pharrell’s mother is African-American, and is pictured at the bottom right of this page. Also, for whatever reason, Ebony.com stated that Pharrell is of part Laotian descent. They may have confused Pharrell’s mother with Pharrell’s wife, Helen Lasichanh, who is of part Laotian descent.

who cares about if hes mixed o not .. lets focus on how sexy he is :)

  2. Tisha says:

What is up with people using the racist term “ch*nky” to describe eye shape? That is so racist people COME ON! We don’t use the n word to describe African American features…

  3. Beauty says:

He looks AA to me; my sister has eyes that are “chinky” way tighter than his and we are full black. Who are we to argue about some ones race, if he say he is African American than that is what he is. Have you seen his brother Cato Williams that famous skate boarder, he look African American also and they have the same mother and father.

  4. Eduardo says:

Im not gay but man he has a hot sexy body

  5. Kiki says:

He does look part Asian.. Not a large amount, but maybe 1/4 or 1/5.. The bone structure, eyes, and even the body type all remind me of Koreans.. I’m around more Asians than any other race everyday, so I’ve gotten used to recognizing the features.. Then again, some people can look like a race with having absolutely none of that particular blood in them.. I know that, just sayin’.. Ah, and to those of you who say a lot of black people have “chinky” eyes (which is insulting in it’s own way, btw), no.. There are a lot of African/ black people with ALMOND shaped eyes, but not slanted the way most Asians are…
