Nick Markakis is an American professional baseball player. A right fielder, he played for the Baltimore Orioles and the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball (MLB).

He is the son of Mary Lou and Dennis Markakis. Nick is married to Christina Dutko, with whom he has three children. Christina’s sister, Ashley, is married to professional baseball player and coach Ryan Flaherty.
