Moisés Arias is an American actor. His parents, Mónica (Rendon) and César Arias, are Colombian, from the Paisa region. He has appeared on the television shows The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and Hannah Montana. His brother is actor Mateo Arias.

    thank God. in hannah montana they never said where he was from, they only state he’s latino, but I think he’s supposed to be argentinian or spanish (it’s not latino, but..) because of some of the things he’s said

      I know thats true. But Argentinens are latino. But its true people from Spain arent latino ;)

        Actually, Spaniards are Latinos. Latino refers to “latin,” the language spoken by the Romans who brought it to many areas in Europe as they conquered new territory, People of Hispanic origen are those whose ancestry is in Spain. “Latinos” refers to people whose primary language has its origin in Latin. As Latin people goes, Italians are Latinos… The Latin countries are Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, and Rumania. However, they are not LatinoAmericanos because that refers only to Latinos from the Americas.

          Nowadays, when someone refers to Latinos, we are talking about latin american countries of latin origins.

          The origins come from Spain, france, italy or Portugal, but in the actual times, nobody refers to people of these countries as latinos.

            Americans didn’t bit that doesn’t mean that TVE meaning of the word must change because of them.Also there are many people in Latín America that doen’t like to be called latino,like indigenous.

  3. my friend is Columbian and she speaks fluent spanish at home for her grandma. i think spanish people are amazing with a rich culture. raise you heads proudly and holla if youre spanish :)

      Spanish people from Spain are different from Central and South American who also speaks spanish. Most of Central and South America ethnically are Mestizo and Mulatos.

      Spanish people are from SPAIN-EUROPE….latin american countries of latin origin speak spanish language, they are NOT spanish.

      Just the same with us americans, who speak english, but they are NOT english. English people are european, just lilke spanish people from Spain.
