Oddly, Miranda did not mention her one eighth Mexican ancestry. Miranda’s maternal grandfather’s mother, Mary Castimello/Costano/Coseton, was born in Mexico, as were Mary’s parents. The spelling of Mary’s surname varies from record to record.

A picture of Miranda with her mother can be seen here.

A picture of Miranda’s paternal grandmother can be seen here.

Miranda’s maternal grandfather was William Frank Casey (the son of William John Casey and Mary Cecilia Castimello/Costano/Coseton). Miranda’s grandfather William was born in California. Miranda’s great-grandfather William was Irish, born in Brosna, County Kerry. Miranda’s great-grandmother Mary was Mexican, born in Juárez, Chihuahua. A picture of Miranda’s maternal grandfather can be seen here.

Miranda’s maternal grandmother was Lois Ann Core (the daughter of Robert Herman Core and Ida Marie Bishir/Bishop). Lois was born in Oklahoma. Robert was the son of John W. Core and Birdie Harrell. Ida was the daughter of John Bunyan Bishir/Bishop and Effie I. Jones. A picture of Miranda’s maternal grandmother can be seen here.

Miranda’s distant Bishir ancestors were Alsatian German.

She is definitely a great mix. The reason she looks a little Asian-like is PROBABLY because she has some Russian and Armenian mix.
Russians and Armenians are Caucasian but many of them share similar features of Asians probably due to ancient crosses with Mongoloids .
I am Armenian. I have light brown hair and big round brown eyes, round face, and an olive/somewhat tan complexion (both my parents are Armenian). People need to understand that Armenia is geographically considered Asia, and we are located on the Caucasus mountains, we are originally pure Caucasian . I usually tell people I’m Eurasian or Mediterranean because some individuals do not like to consider someone who is from a slightly darker group a Caucasian.
All in all, it does not really matter because there has been so much migration and change in the human race. I know Armenians that are pale with blonde hair green eyes who are related to Armenians with black curly hair and black eyes (gypsy-Middle eastern looking probably due to influence from the Persian Empire), I even know red headed and freckled persons who are 100% Armenian. The point is that every race can have a wide range of looks, especially something as vague as Caucasoid (which doesn’t necessarily just mean “white”).

In the end, I say she is a typical American. No one can say exactly what she looks like because genetics and DNA is so complex, things can take a strange turn anytime. Some people are born with mutations, and look NOTHING like their family, relatives, or generation.
