Michael Cammalleri, also known as Mike Cammalleri, is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. A left winger, he played for the Los Angeles Kings, the Calgary Flames, the Montreal Canadiens, the New Jersey Devils, and the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL), for a total of fifteen seasons.

He is the son of Ruth and Leo Cammalleri. His father is of Italian/Sicilian descent and his mother is Jewish. His cousin is professonal baseball coach Jonathan Erlichman. Michael is married to Jennifer Bernaudo, with whom he has two children.

Michael’s paternal grandfather was Antonino Cammalleri (the son of Leonardo Cammalleri and Anna Cammalleri). Leonardo was the son of Paolo Cammalleri and Filomena Milioto. Anna was the daughter of Giuseppe Cammalleri and Calogera Farruggia.

Michael’s paternal grandmother was named Maddalena.

Michael’s maternal grandfather was named Hyman Gelbard. Hyman was a Holocaust survivor, from Poland.

Michael’s maternal grandmother was named Adele Paktorovicz. Adele was a Holocaust survivor, from Czechoslovakia.
