Marc Webb is an American music video director and filmmaker. He has directed the films (500) Days of Summer, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Gifted, and The Only Living Boy in New York, and episodes of the shows Limitless, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, The Society (2019), Why Women Kill, and Just Beyond.
Marc is the son of Margaret and Norman Webb, who works in university math education. He was mostly raised in Madison, Wisconsin. He is married to Jane Herman, with whom he has two children.
Marc’s paternal grandfather was Donald Loomis Webb, Sr. (the son of John Preston Webb and Gertrude E. Loomis). Gertrude was the daughter of Valorus B. Loomis and Mary Bell Harris.
