Lynn has a son with her former husband, musician Matthew Boyle.

Where did this “Scots-Irish” invention come from?
Why was it applied to her?: She looks Irish – and says she is Irish.
Well, well, you are ignorant. Scots Irish or Ulster Scots are ethnic Scots who migrated to what is now Northern Ireland. Have a distinct culture from the rest of Ireland.
Perhaps if you knew a bit of history, you would know this. But like this young woman, and many Americans, you have no idea what you are taling about, or much of an ide where you came from.
The Scots were Irish – if you knew something you’d know that.

The Ulster Scots aren’t pure “ethnic Scots”,are they? Wayyy too many Gaelic Irish,English and French surnames amongst them for that to be true.
