Lisa Ann Walter is an American actress, comedian, writer, and television producer. Her roles include the films The Parent Trap (1998), Bruce Almighty, Shall We Dance? (2004), and War of the Worlds (2005), and the series Life’s Work, which she co-created; Emeril, Breaking News, and Abbott Elementary. She was a judge on reality show The Next Best Thing: Who Is the Greatest Celebrity Impersonator?, won editions of The Weakest Link and Celebrity Jeopardy!, and co-created weight-loss competition series Dance Your Ass Off.
She is the daughter of Catherine, a substitute teacher, and Louis Simon Walter, a geophysicist. Her father was born in New York, to Alsatian German parents. Her mother is of Italian Sicilian origin. Lisa Ann was raised in Germany and D.C., with her father’s work. She has four children, including two with her former husband, actor Sam Baum.
