Kofi Kingston is a Ghanaian-American professional wrestler. He is signed to the WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown brand. He is part of the tag team The New Day, with Big E and Xavier Woods. He is also known as Sir Kofi Kingston and Kofi Sarkodie-Mensah.

He was born in Kumasi, Ashanti, the son of Kwasi and Elizabeth Sarkodie-Mensah. His family moved to the U.S., settling in the greater Boston area, mostly Winchester, Massachusetts. He wrestled on the New England independent circuit as a Jamaican named Kofi Nahaje Kingston. His first name is the traditional name in Ghana for people born on a Friday.

Kofi is married to Kori Campfield, with whom he has three children.
