Jordin Tootoo (ᔪᐊᑕᓐ ᑐᑐ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. A right winger, he played for the Nashville Predators, the Detroit Red Wings, the New Jersey Devils, and the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Jordin is the son of Rose and Barney Tootoo. His father’s family is from a predominantly Inuit community in Chesterfield Inlet, Kivalliq Region, Nunavut, on the coast of Hudson’s Bay. His middle name, Kudluk, means “thunder” in Inuktitut. His brother, Terence, played junior ice hockey. On his father’s side, he is a nephew of Legislative Assembly Speaker George Hickes, and a cousin of politician Hunter Tootoo, who was a Nunavut Legislative Assembly Speaker and federal minister. Jordin was raised in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut.

Jordin’s paternal grandfather was named Pierre Tootoo.

Jordin’s paternal grandmother was named Jenny Quassa.
