Irfaan Ali is a Guyanese politician. He has served as President of Guyana, since 2 August, 2020, as well as, Minister of Housing and Water, from 7 January, 2009 to 20 May, 2015. He is the second Muslim head of state in the Americas, after Noor Hassanali of Trinidad and Tobago.

His parents are educators. Irfaan is from a Muslim family. He is married to Arya Ali, with whom he has two children.
