Ichirō Suzuki (鈴木 一朗, Suzuki Ichirō) is a Japanese professional baseball player. An outfielder, he played for Orix BlueWave, in Japan; the Seattle Mariners, the New York Yankees, and the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball (MLB), for a total of twenty eight professional seasons. He is also known simply as Ichirō (イチロー, Ichirō).

His father is Nobuyuki Suzuki. He was raised in Toyoyama, a town outside Nagoya. Ichirō is married to television announcer Yumiko Fukushima, of TBS TV.
