Does anyone know champsion snooker player Ronnie O’Sullivan’s most recent Irish ancestor? All I can find is that his mother is Sicillian, but I don’t know if his father is Irish-born or if it’s more distant than that.
Can anyone explain the difference between distant and remote and “some/smaller amount”? There has to be some sort of way to tell.

_distant: like 1/32 or so
_remote: one French Huguenot ancestor who ended in NY State in 1600s, for example.
Does anyone know the ethnicity of reality show personality Wells Adam? I’ve always suspected that he has some distant (but not too distant) African American ancestors, but can’t find anything on him, and there is nothing in the media about his ethnicity, nor has he ever talked about his ancestral background as far as I know.

Chris Harris was already questioned here I think, but it seems there is nothing publicly known about him. People search “Chris Harris Indian” on Google though, because he kinda looks it.
Yes, I’ve figured he’s part Indian. But I can literally find nothing on his ethnic background.
I searched him on familysearch but his name is too common. Another more valid option is that he has paternal ancestry from West Indies, because such unions between British women and Caribbean men (rather than South Asians) were much more common at time of his birth (not because he looks Afro or something).

I wonder if that is what has fooled me? He has every different looks depending on the angle and lighting. Maybe that’s all it is, Portuguese.
We dont know Wells Adams father’s background, I doubt it’s Portuguese too.
