Enzo Amore is an American professional wrestler and rapper. He performs in the independent circuit, under the name nZo, and wrestled in the WWE as Enzo Amore, drawing on his Italian heritage. He raps under the name Real1. He is also known as Eric Anthony.
Enzo is the son of Rosemary and Anthony Arndt. He was raised partly in Waldwick, New Jersey.
Enzo’s paternal grandfather was William Arndt (the son of Edwin Arndt and Catherine Murrin). William was born in New Jersey. Edwin was the son of Heinrich Arndt, who was born in New York, and later changed his name to William Henry Arndt; and of Viola Von Ludwig. Both Heinrich and Viola’s parents were German. Enzo’s great-grandmother Catherine was the daughter of John J. Murrin and Agnes Beadle, who were of Irish heritage. Enzo’s paternal third great-grandfather, Edward Arndt, emigrated to New York, and married Elise/Elizabeth Anna Ratz.
Enzo’s paternal grandmother was named Carol Ann Corizzi. Carol was born in New Jersey. Carol’s grandfather, Joseph Corizzi, was born in New Jersey, to Italian immigrants.
