Why would the author would even mention what others say about this beautiful black woman is besides the point, stop being bias when it comes to people of color and their dna heritage bloodline. You don’t post such things as such with white celebs and trust me they are just as messy if not more,..so stick to to subject and not gossip , we can care less about the gossip, she is one of the most beautiful women today in show business besides Tara Banks and countless black women..
I post anything related to ethnicity. I write about such things as rumors to dispel any false claims. An example is Channing Tatum.
correction: caucasian is not an ethnicity, it should be listed as possibly european
wow, pretty girl
she looks like a rejected knock-off version of jhene aiko
Very pretty girl. Most people do not realize that Jamaica is like America. Whereas it was settled by the British. Most of the blacks from slavery have been mixed in the past with British and by migration Scottish and Irish. About 200/300 years ago. Jamaicans are fiercly proud of thier African heritage so they do not have a mixed category similiar to the one drop rule in America, if you have majority black African dna , or a black parent then YOU ARE CONSIDERED BLACK. Unlike the Spanish and Portuguese Carribean whereas majority black people claim “mixed or thier island name, ie. Puerto Rican. Racial mixing was not banned in Jamaica, Trinidad, Guyana, Barbados so you have people with exotic admixtures like Indian, Chinese, Iranian mixed with African, who are labeled as BLACKS. But these non-black peoples without African admixture, for example if they mix with whites on the island then the offspring is labeled as white. Or labeled as what people visually see.
@MisG we agree to disagree, I have ALOT of Jamaican friends and ive been to Jamaica many times. I know what im saying. If you disagree you are one of those who wants to be in the other category. America and The British colonies were all under the same British mentality in regards to race.
Jamaican governments census: Ethnic groups
African 76.3%, Afro-European 15.1%, East Indian and Afro-East Indian 3%, white 3.2%, Chinese and Afro-Chinese 1.2%, other 1.2%
http://whoswhojamaica.com/about-us/fast-facts-on-jamaica/
as you can see, Mixed people are given their own categories and designations by our Jamaican Government: “Afro-European”, “Afro-East Indian”, “Afro-Chinese”
because black African-Jamaican people are not confused, we recognize when the blood has been tainted and call it what it is — mixed
These statistics comes the JAMAICAN government —
look at you quoting a racist foreign white governments statistics to try and tell me about about my country and our culture__GTHOH
@Misg , you are being delusional. There is no active “brown” race currently in Jamaica. Unless you are talking about the East Indians from India, they would qualify. But as similiar to America, there are dark and light skinned blacks. If you google any cencuse records about Jamaica the majority of the island like 88% percent identifies as Black. Go ahead an google race categories in Jamaica. Also what you are qouting is slavery time descriptoons of the African slaves. Those modern day categories no longer exist.
That’s your problem, dear — you need Google to give you a history lesson on Other people’s countries and culture.
The fact that you don’t know that we called mixed people “brown” goes to show that you don’t know anything about my country… that’s information that people know because they were actually born and Raised in that culture…

@Misg, the CIA factbook states that the black population of Jamaica under people is 92.1% , so upon visiting Jamaica you will see black people of 20 different skin tones , features and hair textures obviously the black population has had immigrants from other countries as it is a diverse and even more diverse than America.

So, as a Jamaican, I’m telling you how it goes in MY country and in response,
you turn around to show me some statistics
put together by a white American racist organization…GTFOH
You visiting Jamaica don’t mean Anything, you are still ignorant about our culture–which have glaring showed by opening your mouth to me.
You are NOT Jamaican and cannot speak for us… stay in your lane
no, sorry but in Jamaica, mixed-people are classifed as “MIXED”… here is a copy of our census questionnaire.
If you look at section 1.4, it asks people to identify and label “MIXED” is there:
http://statinja.gov.jm/Census/Individual%20Short.pdf
the only thing you have said that has a whiff of truth, is that some mixed-people self-classify as “black”…. whether they are treated or called black by the majority is entirely different, that depends on how they look
