Emma Tremblay is a Canadian actress. She has appeared on the shows Wayward Pines and Supergirl, and in the films Elysium, The Giver, The Judge, Wonder, and Night Hunter. Her siblings are actors Jacob Tremblay and Erica Tremblay.

Emma is the daughter of Christina and Jason Tremblay, a police officer (not the actor of the same name). Emma’s maternal grandfather is Chilean. Emma also has French-Canadian, English, Scottish, Northern Irish, Irish, 1/32 Danish, and distant First Nations and German, ancestry. Emma’s paternal great-great-great-great-great-grandmother, Christine Lavaltrie Tshishereu/Kichera, was Indigenous.

Emma’s paternal grandfather is Jean-Paul Tremblay (the son of Joseph-Aldéric Tremblay and Marie-Matilda Marguerite/Margot Devost). Aldéric was born in Les Escoumins, La Haute-Côte-Nord, Québec, the son of Joseph Tremblay and Marie Blanche Julie/Julia Therrien. Marguerite was born in Trois-Pistoles, Les Basques, Québec, the daughter of Cyprien Devost and Yvette Castonguay.

Emma’s paternal grandmother is named Sylvia N.

Emma’s maternal grandfather is named Jorge Candia. Jorge is from Chile.

Emma’s maternal grandmother is Karie Adair Still (the daughter of David Eugene/James Still and Coreen Mary/Maria Giles). David was the son of James Madill “Jim” Still and Alice Martha Atwood, who was from Wyoming. He had English, Scottish, Northern Irish, and distant German, ancestry. The Still surname comes from Newhills, Aberdeen, Scotland. Alice’s father had deep Colonial American, and Scottish, ancestry, and Alice’s mother was English. Emma’s great-grandmother Coreen was born in Aldershot, Hampshire, England, the daughter of William Duncan Giles and Emily Beatrice McCready Mortensen. Emily’s father was Danish, from Ove, Ålborg, and her mother was Irish, from Dublin.
