Cub Swanson is an American mixed martial artist. He competes in the Featherweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He holds eight post-fight bonus awards, the most in division history. He is nicknamed “Killer.”

His father, Steven Swanson, was of Swedish descent. His mother, Elaine (Hernandez), is of Mexican ancestry. His father died three months after he was born, and because of his mother’s heavy grieving, Cub and his siblings were then adopted by a relative, until his mother’s recovery. His brother, Steve Swanson, has also competed in MMA. The two run the MMA gym Tru Gym.

Cub is married to model and television host Kenda Perez, with whom he has three children.
