Garrett Borns, better known by his stage name BØRNS, is an American singer and songwriter from Grand Haven, Michigan. BØRNS released his EP, A Dream Between, in 2012 and released his debut studio album, Dopamine, on October 16, 2015.

Børns’ paternal grandfather was Douglas Alan Borns (the son of Arthur Borns and Rita Manigold). Arthur was born in Michigan, to German parents. Three of Rita’s great-grandparents were French, three were Irish, one was English, and one was German.

Børns’ maternal grandfather was Leonard William Salsbury (the daughter of William Salsbury and Lillian Beebe). Lillian’s father was English.

Børns’ maternal grandmother was Lorraine Janet Pearo (the daughter of Earl Pearo and Mary Valle). Lorraine was of French-Canadian descent.
