Arizona has stated:

It is [my real name]! I was born in Arizona. My mum’s English and she’d just moved there right before I was born. I guess she was really impressed by the desert and she named me Arizona! Muse is my dad’s last name so that’s that! I like it but it took a long time to get used to!

One of Arizona’s ancestors (great-great-great-great-grandfather) is said to be English arquitect Alfred Waterhouse.
