Wait, how is he 1/4 Swiss Italian if Maria Cristina Caruso was from Italy? Wouldn’t this make Anthony grandfather only half Swiss-Italian?

Antonino Fauci and Calogera Guardino were from Sciacca, Agrigento, Sicily.

Raffaella Trematerra/Tremalaterra was from Naples, Campania.

Giovanni John Robert Abys (an artist) was born in Atripalda, Avellino, Campania (not in Switzerland as Wikipedia says) to Raghet Abys, who was born in Chur, Grisons, Switzerland (or Coira in Italian), and Maria Cristina Caruso, who was Italian, from Avellino.

Raghet Abys was the son of Giovanni Abys and Maria Riza Porta

Abys family is mentioned in Coira since early XVII century and is originally from Piuro in Valtellina (Northern Lombardy), according to the book “A Bit of Myself” by Filomena Abys-Smith.
