Craig Bierko is an American actor and singer. His roles include The Thirteenth Floor, Cinderella Man, and Scary Movie 4, as well as many television and stage performances.
He is the son of Pat and Rex Bierko, who ran a community theatre. His father is of Polish Catholic descent. Craig has stated that his mother, who is from an Ashkenazi Jewish family, converted to Christianity.
Craig’s paternal grandmother was named Stephanie Elizabeth Matusiewicz. Stephanie was born in New Jersey.
Craig’s maternal grandfather was surnamed Distillator.

Walter Distillator’s parents were Harry and Hattie. Harry was born in England to Samuel Elias and Pauline (Moritz) Distillator. Samuel’s birthplace was given as Russia. It seems that she came from the Mainz area, or at least one of their children was born there. Pauline’s death record shows her parents as Harry and Fanny Morris (Moritz).
Do we know for sure who his maternal grandparents were? I can’t find his mother exactly on the 1950 census, there were two women surnamed Distillator of the right age but different birth names.
