Fletcher’s paternal grandfather was Edwin Joseph Fletcher, Jr. (the son of Edwin Joseph Fletcher and Catherine/Katherine/Kathlyn A. Quinlan). Fletcher’s grandfather Edwin was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. Fletcher’s great-grandfather Edwin was chief of the Wall Township Police Department. He was the son of German parents, Otto Edwin Fleischauer and Elizabeth Elsishans. Katherine was the daughter of John M. Quinlan, who was of Irish origin, with roots in Kilrush; and of Mary Elizabeth “Mimmie” Ruse.

Fletcher’s paternal grandmother was Mildred Theresa “Terry” Waters (the daughter of Thomas Joseph Waters and Mildred Catherine Haines). Mildred was born in New Jersey. Thomas was the son of Irish parents, from County Sligo, James Jacob Waters and Belinda Margaret Gunning. Mildred was the daughter of Ezra Haines and Catherine E. “Katie” Lakeland, whose father was Irish.

Cari’s maternal grandfather was Quido Napolitani (the son of Francesco “Frank” Napolitani and Margherita “Margeret” Fiandola). Quido was born in Asbury Park, New Jersey, to Italian parents. Francesco was the son of Francesco Napolitani and Saveria Petilli. Margherita was the daughter of Vincenzo Fiandola and Elisabetta Brucci.

Cari’s maternal grandmother is Madeline Villapiano (the daughter of Dominick/Dominic Villapiano and Stella Malagoli/Malgoli). Madeline was born in New Jersey, and all of her grandparents were Italian. Dominick was the son of Joseph Villapiano and Madeline Vetrano, and had roots in Campania, Italy.
