Her parents, Jennifer and Daniel Davis, founded Chicago-based company Davisware, which handles business management software.

Pearl’s paternal grandfather was Patrick Joseph Davis (the son of Parley Jay “PJ” Davis and Mary Virginia Langan). Patrick was born in Harvey, Illinois.
